HIGH WYCOMBE

THE BELL

FULLER SMITH & TURNER

The best house in High Wycombe by some margin, situated in Frogmoor in the Town Centre. It has an attractive frontage bedecked with hanging baskets Some parts of the grade II listed building date from about 1400 and there are quite a number of old beams together with some newer ones.

The beers are kept superbly and there is usually ESB, London Pride, Discovery and one guest beer. Very friendly service. There is a seperate lunchtime and evening menu and even one for take-away, with a large Thai food content as well as more traditional cuisine. There is background music of rather a pleasant quality and played at reasonable volume

There is a pleasant yard outside the back with more flower baskets, profuse with flowers of many colours. A little pricey perhaps, but well worth it. They have their own website at http://www.thebellonline.co.uk/
