FROM THE EDITOR'S CHAIR
As you may have noticed, we have now moved to our (we hope) permanent site. Well permanent with the rider that nothing lasts for ever. Let's just say fairly permanent.
As already mentioned when you first came in, that is if you came in by the front door, we have now given up any pretence of trying to imitate our hard copy magazine. If you have sneaked in, crawling through a side window, you are almost certainly not properly dressed and one of our bouncers are likely to evict you at any time, so please read here.
Being rather lazy, I have not got around to writing a proper editorial yet. However, here is a list of the latest stuff on the site. I may well not be complete. If you wander around a bit you may discover something that we have forgotten to list. Have fun finding out.
Recent additions to the site
Previously published in our paper and ink thingy
Aggie Pratt another seven pages of Yorkshire sagacity from the well-renowned, if somewhat elderly, lady.
Leisure Section: In the Kitchen now includes the delights of Boxty and the first part of Felicity's famous guide to chillis.
Literary Section has been re-organised. Poetry and prose have been seperated and Alternative English is now included in this section (previously Alternative Definitions).
Miscellany has at least fourteen more pages, many more to come. We have also amalgamated, in many cases, two pages into one, so that it doesn't look as if we have added so much, but we have, honestly.
Since we wrote that we now have put yet another four pages of these up.
Out of the Picture two pages, also see below
New stuff
American Voices has a new Haida legend, but as yet no narrative about the group.
Baron Crapulence has three new pages
Literary Section: Alternative English now includes usage as well as definitions. So far included are anagrams and Spoonerisms.
Out of the Picture one new page in addition to the two previously mentioned.
A Wiltshire Diary is a new page. We have moved 'On Writing' to this page and there are two other new pages here.
